Wilma Sierra Blanca, a Spanish developer of German-Dutch origin, specializing in the development of luxury projects, never ceases to amaze thanks to the success of The View Marbella, which has been chosen as the best national and international residential project 2020-2021, at the prestigious INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY AWARDS. This ambitious project with a gross development value of 130 million euros, is situated on a 50,000 m2 plot, with the possibility to construct more than 150 apartments. In the end however the decision was taken to build 110 homes of increased size, divided in two phases.
The first is made up of 49 luxury apartments, of which 73% have already been sold. This is a very significant figure, considering that work on this phase began in the middle of the pandemic. In recognition of its design and quality, the development has been awarded ‘Best International Residential Development’ by the International Property Awards 2020-2021. These awards, which began in 1993 with just 10 residential categories, now have an almost global presence, with delegations in Europe, the United Kingdom, United States, Africa, Arabia, Canada, the Caribbean, South and Central America. Each year, a very high calibre of entries are received, which is a testament to the high standards and prestige of the awards. “This award is a recognition of the effort that at Wilma Sierra Blanca we have made to create an exclusive and unique project on the Costa del Sol, in which luxury, comfort and sustainability go hand in hand,” says Pedro Antonio Rodríguez, managing partner of Wilma Sierra Blanca.
Construction on this development of luxury apartments, is being carried out by BILBA and more quickly than normal construction, thanks to the implementation of the industrialised system Sismo Building Technology, which facilitates better planning while simplifying on-site processes. In turn, this type of construction 4.0 substantially improves the durability of the apartments, as well as the energy efficiency of the homes, which already have A-rated certificates, allowing savings of 35% on electricity bills.
The View Marbella will be the first of several real estate projects to be developed by Wilma Sierra Blanca in prime areas of southern Spain. In an ambitious expansion plan, the board of directors is studying other projects for future investment, especially given the excellent reception that The View Marbella has received.
The View Marbella is undoubtedly the most unique project currently under construction on the Costa del Sol, especially the design of one of its blocks, being totally circular, with 300º panoramic views, which will become an emblematic structure on the hillsides of Marbella, overlooking the Golf Valley. Its design is certainly a departure from the ordinary and presents an original concept, with a timeless architecture of curved forms that enhances its views of the sea. The project has been conceived with special attention to detail, both architecturally and in terms of interior design, communal areas, landscaping and luxury services including spa, gym, 5 swimming pools, yoga, garden areas, 24 hour security and an exclusive concierge service.
The second phase
In the same vein, work is also underway on the second phase of The View Marbella, which will go on sale at 2022. In total there will be 60 apartments distributed in five blocks, with stunning sea views. Once again, the project will be carried out by the studio of Teodoro Cabrilla and will be built with Sismo Spain as the construction system. “In the second phase of The View we are taking on a new challenge: that of surpassing ourselves, innovating both in the design of the project and its amenities”, says Pedro Antonio Rodríguez.
In addition, new communal areas will be built with access for the owners of both phases. Likewise, owners of phase 2 will have access to the Health Club, swimming pool, kids club and any common areas of phase 1. The apartments, which will be on sale from 600,000 euros, will stand out for their generous living spaces throughout, with 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms, all facing the sea, always seeking to make the most of the views.
